Data conversion cookie.
When we introduced registration and login facilities to Alpha Pro Partners, we changed the way we stored user settings and histories in cookies. This cookie contains no settings data; it only indicates that we have successfully migrated cookie data to the new system, and that we do not need to do it again. User engagement cookie.
This cookie is used to measure the level of user engagement, and is used to help target advertising. This is set for all users who use the desktop site.

This cookie stores settings, including the font size, whether headlines should be set in bold, and all the publications you have hidden or highlighted. It enables us to respect these settings when you navigate between web pages, and return to Alpha Pro Partners from the same browser and computer. This cookie stores the topics and searches you visited most often. It enables us to present the “My Most Viewed” list so that your favourite topics are just a click away. This is set for non-registered or non-logged-in users who use the desktop or mobile site.

Authentication cookie.
This cookie is used to identify your account when you are logged in to Alpha Pro Partners, and is required for us to be able to provide a personalised experience when you are logged in. It enables us to recognise your account when you navigate between web pages, and (should you not have logged off) when you return to Alpha Pro Partners from the same browser and computer.This is set for registered and logged-in users who use the desktop site.

Mobile favourites cookie.
This cookie stores the topics you favoured on the mobile site. It enables us to redirect your browser to your favourite homepage when you revisit the site, and to display a list of your favourite topics so that they are just a click away.This is set for non-registered or non-logged-in users who use the mobile site.

Jump links cookie.
This cookie stores your preference as to whether or not to display ‘jump links’ to individual topics at the top of a page.This is set for registered and logged-in users who use the desktop site.

NN_RT_(suffix)
Ad retargeting cookies.
Any cookie whose name starts NN_RT_ may be set when you browse the web site of a third-party advertiser with which Alpha Pro Partners has a relationship (either directly or indirectly via its advertising provider(s)). Any such cookie will then be sent to the Alpha Pro Partners web site when you subsequently access it and may be used by Alpha Pro Partners (in conjunction with its advertising provider(s)) to target adverts related to the relevant third-party advertiser at your browser. No personal information is interchanged or stored during this process.
